On October 11, 2023, the Sabail District Court of Baku sentenced Zyaka Miragayev to 4 months of imprisonment in a pre-trial detention center for the period of preliminary investigation. The term of detention under arrest for the period of investigation was subsequently extended.
November 28, 2024. The Baku Court of Grave Crimes delivered the sentence: since the prosecution failed to provide convincing evidence during the trial, the judge replaced the previous charge with a new one - 234.1-1 (Illegal acquisition or storage without the purpose of sale of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances in quantities exceeding those necessary for personal consumption, committed in large quantities) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic. And after that, Zyaka Miragayev was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
