Another APFP Activist Arrested

Vugar Gadirli, a member of the Imishli District Organization of the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (APFP), was detained on the morning of December 12.

"Vugar Gadirli, an activist of the APFP's Imishli district organization, a veteran of the Karabakh war, and a second-group disabled person, was detained in the district this morning. First, plainclothes individuals searched the café where he works, and then they searched his home. After that, Vugar Gadirli was taken away in an unknown direction," said Natig Adilov, head of the APFP press service.

"The APFP remains the main target of repression. 18 party members, including its leader Ali Karimli, are currently under investigation or have already been convicted on fabricated charges," Adilov added.
