Resignation and Activism:
In March 2020, Ibrahimov resigned in protest against human rights violations and electoral fraud during the parliamentary elections. He expressed moral dilemmas about working under a system he viewed as increasingly authoritarian. Post-resignation, he became an active critic of the government, utilizing social media to voice his opposition to policies he deemed detrimental to Azerbaijan's sovereignty and integrity.
