Conclusion:
On April 16, 2020, Niyameddin Akhmedov was arrested for 30 days in an administrative
order "for violating quarantine measures and disobeying the legal demands
of a police officer." The PFPA made a special statement, which indicated
that N. Akhmedov was taken from the Binagadi Temporary Detention Facility during his administrative arrest and placed in the SGB pretrial detention center, where he was subjected to
torture in the form of bodily harm, as well as an electric shock. N. Akhmedov
was kept in the SGB pretrial detention center and tortured for 10 days. N. Akhmadov was forced to testify against Ali Karimli and other party members. On May 9, 2020, he was returned to the
Binagadi pretrial detention center.
On May 16, 2020, the 30-day administrative arrest of Niyameddin
Akhmadov expired. Family, relatives, friends and journalists were waiting for N. Akhmadov at the exit of the
Binagadi Temporary Detention Facility, where he was supposed to be, but could not wait. The media wrote about the disappearance of N. Akhmadov. For three days, there was no news about Niyameddin Akhmadov. Only on May 19, 2020, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan disseminated information
about the initiation of a criminal case against Niyameddin Akhmadov and his detention in the pretrial detention center of the
State Security Service. The Statement of the Prosecutor General's Office stated that Akhmedov accepted money from his fellow villager Gabil Mammadov, who lives in Germany, to finance terrorist organizations.
