Murad Sultan, Chairman of the Control and Audit Commission of the Azerbaijan People's Front Party (APFP), has been out of contact since noon on December 16, according to the party's press service.

"Calls to Murad Sultan's mobile phone are not going through. Usually, after such 'disappearances,' it turns out that activists are in the custody of one of the law enforcement agencies. Therefore, we believe that Murad Sultan has been detained," the press service stated.

The disappearance of Murad Sultan occurred against the backdrop of the arrests of several APFP members over recent weeks, including party leader Ali Kerimli.Murad Sultan
